About my Paintings
I create colourful and flowy abstracts, landscapes and floral paintings, using alcohol inks. I focus on colour and form to create interesting shapes and textures.
I paint on a synthetic non-porous paper (Yupo® or Nara®). It lets the inks glide across the surface, rather than absorbing into the pores of regular paper. When finished I seal the art with a few layers of UV protectant. They are then ready to be framed. Sometimes I will mount the paper to a wooden panel and cover with a layer of resin. Below are example of previous sold works.
